Alternate Description
-
In 1993, at BICON ’11, the UK National Bisexual Conference, a closing ceremony took place around the University Campus Fountain, Kellan Farshea, a sister of perpetual indulgence and countdown on spanner activist, led the ceremony, blessing the water and helped us to focus on the energy we had created at BICON.
It was a significant moment for many of us, I felt a strong sense of my bisexual power, political and social and was very conscious of being present and part of a wider queer community.
Dedicated to Rachael Hone
