On my left hand I wear my father’s signet ring which was given to him by my mother on their silver wedding. I have worn it since he died in 1956.
On my right hand I wear a ring which my wife and I had made from all the jewelry we had given each other to mark our 50th birthdays. Next to it I wear a ring made by my wife to mark our silver wedding in 2011. I wear these rings every day but they contain the story and memories of my family and my life.
