My broken digital loop device represents ‘acceptance’ in my life. I used it as a hairdresser to hear my clients via my hearing dids. It was very stressful! It used to be unbelievable and I would feel unable to communicate with others. When it broke again I decided NOT to fix it and I finished my vde as a hairstylist. I began a new journey at Uni on a fine art course and I now practice as a mixed media artist. I now accept my hearing loss.
