Alternate Description

These are “knucklebones”- form lamb joints. We used to play with them as children in New Zealand- a game like jacks in the UK. They remind me of playing in the school playground as a child- and of an occasion when my sister was fighting with some of her friends. They asked me for my help- I chased her through the playground and when I finally caught her she turned round and bit me in the chest. I had a bruise in the shape of her teeth for weeks. My mother said it served me right for interfering!
