I used this blanket for many years. It witnessed my brother sexually abusing me. When I told my mom, her first reaction was to take me to the hospital. She was relieved to find out that I was still a virgin, which won’t affect my chance of finding a husband.
But she doesn’t know my deepest pain. I’m a lesbian, and my brother’s actions haunted me since, especially when I tried to get close to any girls, or when I masturbated. I thought about those sexual images that my brother showed me. Who am I? I hate them so much but still think about them? Am I lesbian?
