I found my first love wearing it. I was in Frankfurt at Volleyball games, my club was competing with two teams. I was standing att the audience platform which was separated and from and higher up than the volleyball court taking pictures of the other team playing. Suddenly our eyes met, and I decided to take a picture of him. He was at the volleyball court and started trying to climb up to me. That was very cute. I asked him "-What are you doing?" and he said "-I'm coming to you". Then we had a little chat, and that was a nice time. I will always remember that.

The important thing of this item is the color, no the item itself. Rosa is not my favourite color but one I do like. Rosa is always related exclusively with females, sort of hetero/ normativity bias. Having the rosa color in different items of mine I just show up that rosa is for everyone. (rosa = pink)

My shoes are with me everywhere because I try to practice as often as I can. I come from a conservative Easter European country where I was not allowed to pursue dancing as a career and i am not accepted as a gay person. Nowadays I live in London, so being able to train with the best teachers and moreover being able to dance with the woman is a huge privilege to me, I am very grateful and I am committed to improve. Events such as same sex dance competitions and EuroGames are always very emotional, 10 years ago I could not have imagined a possibility of being a part of it.
5 people from Russia, from "Russian LGBT Sport Federation" started to fight for their rights for sport for LGBT-people in Russia. We talk about human rights in Russia all our trip, meet LGBT and state organisation and take a lot of interviews in TV, newspapers, radio(see attached newspapers)
In 1980 I was feeling frustrated and lost, and I started playing golf seven days a week. That saved my life and almost killed me: I had so many mixed feelings inside that I tried to keep under control by engaging myself very hard in my golf playing.

De har känt varandra sedan "Ellen"- tiden eller längre och säger att de inte minns någonting...men vartefter kvällen går kommer de fram ur sina gömslen, minnena, och någon har grävt fram några dokument från förr...
Unstraight = Anyone or anything that is or was not part of the straight norm in society. Stockholm Unstraight är en samling platser som har eller har haft betydelse för unstraighta människor i Stockholm från 1600-talet fram till idag (2013). Vårt varmaste tack till alla som bidragit på ett eller annat sätt - utan er hade det inte varit möjligt. Projektet har genomförts av The Unstraight Museum (unstraight.org) i samarbete med Pia Laskar och finansierats av Länsstyrelsen inom ramen för Kalejdoskop (2012 / 2013). Det främsta syftet med detta projekt är att bevara och synliggöra unstraighta personers historia. Vi har samlat befintlig information, lagt in länkar till platser med information, tidigare arbeten, till personbiografier, till bevarade digitaliserade filmklipp liksom nya på YouTube med mera. Detta är på inget sätt en komplett samling: vår förhoppning är att du bidrar med din plats och den historia du känner till. Tillsammans skriver vi vår historia!
